Meet Dr. Ghazaleh Ghaneh

Dr. Ghazaleh GhanehDr. Ghazaleh received her dental degree in 2002 with honors. After practicing general dentistry for a few years, she attended University of Texas Scool of Dentistry in Houston to complete her three-year program in Endodontics. She received her certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in dentistry. 

During her residency she was actively involved in research and obtained the third-place award at the AAE Annual Sessions for her poster presentation. Her thesis research project “MP-7 and TIMP-1, New targets in predicting poor wound healing in apical periodontitis” was published in the Journal of Endodontics in 2013. Dr. Ghaneh serves as an assistant professor at the Department of Endodontics at UT Houston School of Dentistry, where she is mostly involved with training the Endodontic residents. 

She is a member of American Association of Endodontists, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society and American Dental Association. 

When not working, Dr. Ghazaleh enjoys traveling, reading, calligraphy, dancing and listening to classic and pop music. However, her most wonderful time is spent with her friends and family, her husband and their two young children.
